Bald Mountain Theater presents Full Frontal Fairytales- Original, Short, Live
Friday and Saturday, June 2-3 at 7:30pm
Sunday, June 4 at 2pm
Bald Mountain Theater presents Full Frontal Fairytales on Friday and Saturday, June 2-3 at 7:30pm and Sunday, June 4 at 2:00pm at Spice Studio in Rochester, VT. This live performance features original, very short stories inspired by fairy tales, with the addition of Art songs and percussion. Trees talk, statues come to life, animals take revenge, and children rise up. Just the kind of performance you would expect from Bald Mountain: irreverent, unexpected, intense, and fun.
“Our definition of ‘full frontal’ does not mean sexually explicit,” says Artistic Director Ethan Bowen, “but rather open, revealing, and no-holds-barred.”
Writers and performers include Brigid Meehan-Brese, Ronnie Romano, Dana Yeaton, Erica Robinson, Vander Gac, Robert Melik Finkle, Amy Braun, Katie Reich, Killian White, Ethan Bowen, Wilder Bowen, and Dick Robson.
This evening of storytelling will run for an hour. Parents should be advised that content includes intense subject matter, people consumed by wolves, and some descriptions of blood and unhappiness.
Bald Mountain Theater specializes in bringing short stories, fables, folktales, and novellas to vivid life. Popular shows include Krampusnacht, our solstice celebration of light and dark, and There Once Was…, where we bring together thrilling stories from another part of the globe and professional actors, musicians, and designers for a one-week intensive. Bald Mountain aims to produce theater you won’t see anywhere else.
Performances are Friday and Saturday, June 2-3 at 7:30pm & Sunday, June 4 at 2pm
Tickets are $15, available at the door or at baldmountaintickets.ludus.com
